FSMIS (November 2, 2013): Takizawa Hideaki literally attracts people. He is a famous Japanese TV actor. He came to the celebration at the Royal Park Hotel in Tokyo that marked the 25th anniversary of the establishment of FSM-Japan diplomatic relation as a "goodwill ambassador" of the FSM, a role bestowed upon him when he completed the inaugural chartered flight from Tokyo to Pohnpei in June, 2012. At the function this evening, he took part in the 'kagami biraki', breaking of the sake barrel, and then made a brief remark on stage in the presence of FSM President Manny Mori, FSM Speaker Dohsis Halbert as well as other Japanese officials.
The First Lady of Japan, Madame Akie Abe, was also there. She came as a friend of the wife of FSM Ambassador to Japan's wife, Mrs. Momoe Fritz, adding to the frenzy in the packed hall at the Royal Park Hotel in Tokyo.
